There is a story in today's P&J which amused me. It's Turret
Taken Apart Without Permission. I took a photo of the building in question a couple of weeks ago. What you can't see from the photo is that there was work being carried out on the fourth tower. That's why I took the photo from the angle I did. I didn't expect someone was in the process of stealing it though.
I jest, it's not as bad as it sounds:
Workers dismantled an Aberdeen landmark without permission, the city council has claimed.
Taxpayers will not be stung, as the work would probably have been carried out anyway.
