A slight disruption to normal routines has meant that I've not been keeping fully up to speed with stuff for the last week or so. I should be back to full communicative capacity next week. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone thought I was off in a sulk or something.
In the meantime. When you read about the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill, it really is the stuff of nightmares. This one has a bit more of the crook and a bit less of the idiot about it. Surely no-one could be so stupid as to think that the word of a politician is an adequate safeguard against potential abuses of these enormous powers. Jim Murphy claims to. That's not incompetance. That's mendacity.
