Apart from the proponents, no one gives a feck about these guys flamewar. It's just a feeding frenzy of blogrolls. They shold get real about what the Internet is all about.
Manic wishes to point out that Guido himself has observed that New Labour astro-turfers have invaded his site, attempting to decelerate certain stories by claiming that they are bored or ongoing coverage borders on the obsessive.
This kind of astro-turfing is easily recognisable, as the participants rarely have a credible blog/identity to back them up.
sam, I normally find your comments interesting but please play nice. Schizophrenia is a serious illness. It is not a word to be bandied about lightly.
On the wider point, I can't speak for anyone else but I've been very interested in the whole affair. The way Guido morphed into the Fake Sheik when challenged was particularly informative and amusing.
Just to make the point about alter egos absolutely clear, "Guido" is the manufactured character adopted by Paul Staines on the interwebs. "Guido" is a persona.
"Guido 2.0" is the manufactured character created by Tim Ireland to highlight this and other aspects of "Guido's" behaviour.
Both Tim Ireland and Paul Staines demand that influential public figures be open and transparent but only one would rather their own real identity wasn't widely known.
Hamster, my "schiz" observation is on account of "guido 2.0" speaking as "Manic" and being (I presume) the blogger known as "Tim Ireland". I am using the term in the common meaning and not in the sense of "dissociative disorder" as in the medical model. It isn't clear to me which person he's speaking in.
Should you so be offended you have the editorial discretion to delete my posts.
I don't understand what the dude is on about. Has he come here for another moan or does he mean something else??
I've moved here.
BSSC is written by a Scotsman called Garry Smith. He has no affiliations or connections to any political party or media organisation. His views are his own.
Garry has only written about himself in the third person twice and you're reading the second effort now. The first was the previous version of this profile which referred to his former pseudonym, CuriousHamster. This odd nickname has now been retired.
Feel free to express your opinions on what's posted. There is a comment policy in an attempt to keep things civilized.

@ guido 2 / Manic I don't understand your post or your schizophrenia??
Of the Bloggerheads / Guido spat, it is, as we say in my country, like watching two bald men fighting over a comb.
