I thought Iain Dale's point about not being at a meeting in 18 months meant little .
Anyone who's been on boards/advisory groups knows you can still have input (via email and phone conference calls for example) without having to attend every meeting.
Surely he did the same?
It was just sophistry and spin.
Reminds me of this sort of thing.
